• Listening for the formdata event lets you use e.formData to modify the FormData object which is about to be constructed
  • Works to modify as it's submitted or when calling new FormData(e.target) in a submit handler
• There used to be a JS package manager called bower which didn't use a lockfile
  • Also at some point someone at work decided using it alongside yarn was a good idea for multiple projects...
• There's a handy official jquery-migrate package which shims removed stuff and console.logs deprecation/removal warnings
  • Unfortunately it's mostly useful if you have strong test coverage (the projects I'm working on do not)
  • Also the latest version available via the bower repository is 3.0.0, and I need to get to 3.5.0
• Having a baby is nerve-wracking before you even have the baby
  • I was freaking out when The Wife took a little longer than expected at the 8 week ultrasound
  • Also crazy that most places don't let the father in here
  • Though I guess it makes sense at these smaller clinics; lots of reasons a woman might need to go there and few of them you want a man around for
