Braid

I'm starting to think I just don't like puzzle games

Braid is clearly a great game and I can see why its one of the classics of the genre, but I just can't make myself finish it. My brain-rotted millennial attention span has me reaching for hints or even a guide after ~5 minutes of being stuck on a puzzle, preventing me from enjoying the feeling of solving the game's trickiest challenges. Up until around World 5 I was getting enough done on my own to enjoy it, but the time shadow mechanic was eventually too much for me and I bailed rather than get walked through the rest of the experience. If you like puzzle games you'll probably love this but you've also probably already played it. If you just like good games but aren't the biggest fan of puzzle games, this isn't likely to change that.
